TWO SENIOR INSTRUCTORS at one workshop! Taught by Seniors Instructors, Missy Robertson and Ken Andrews, this one- day class will give participants a unique opportunity to learn/ review all aspects of the ChiRunning technique. Attendees will receive in-depth instruction together with multiple practice- video reviews throughout the day. Included in the workshop price is an optional post- class run with your instructors after the workshop, and/or Sunday morning. Missy and Ken have extensive experience in helping runners of all ages and abilities achieve their running goals via ChiRunning (See their bios below the workshop description).
Who should attend this class? Anyone who wants to learn how to run more energy-efficiently, and injury-free. Perhaps you are a beginning runner who wants to “do it right” from the get-go; or maybe you are a serious, competitive runner who wants to improve on your race times; or, you are a runner who has been plagued by injuries and you want to avoid this in the future; perhaps you are injured now and want to get back to running again as soon as possible. Maybe you have attended a ½ day or full day introductory workshop in the past and now you want to learn the full range of Chi Running skills with a senior instructor (Returning clients qualify for a discount to this workshop- please contact Missy or Ken for your Discount Code). Please note: you do not need to be fit to join this workshop – all class attendees participate in the various drills and practice sessions according to their own comfort level.
What does my workshop fee include? Attendance at this workshop, plus each participant will receive a free Chi Running technical running hat, and all key points of what was covered in the workshop will be emailed post-class. Included in the workshop price is an optional post- class run with your Instructors immediately after the workshop, and/ or Sunday morning, March 30 at 9:00am to help you review your focuses and cadence in a group run (location: TBA).
Chi Products. There will be a range of Chi Running/Walking products for sale at the class (books, DVDs metronomes, etc).
What is Covered in the Workshop? In addition to the detailed agenda below, your Instructors will provide guidance and references throughout the day on the following:
Morning Session
Lunch. It is suggested you bring lunch with you so you can participate in an informal discussion/Q&A on all things running while we eat.
Afternoon Session

About Your Instructors:
Missy Robertson is an Instructor in the St. Louis/ Kansas City/ Springfield/ Joplin Missouri areas. She comes from a marketing and engineering background and has been running races over the U.S. for the past 35+ years. Passionate about running, plus fitness and nutrition, she is also a certified personal trainer and has recently opened Design Fitness Studio in Springfield, MO. She also volunteers teaching a running program with the Great Circle Boys and Girls Town of Springfield, instructing kids in the importance of running energy efficient and injury free.
Ken Andrews comes from an international background in music and the corporate business world, and is an accomplished Masters' runner and cyclist. He is involved in multiple running/ hiking/ biking activities: He is a member of Team USA Duathlon and ranked third in the USA for his age group in 2012 and 2013; in 2012 his trail running exploits saw him run across the Grand Canyon in 4 hours and 42 minutes. Ken is an enthusiastic and engaging Instructor/ Coach, and is passionate about helping people reach their goals. He also serves as a volunteer coach/ speaker for multiple groups, and in various capacities with local non- profit/ city organizations where he lives in Midland, Michigan.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancel 14 days before the workshop and you will be credited your total registration amount for a future workshop purchased with Chi Living, Inc. within one year with no penalty, or you will be refunded your registration amount minus a $35 processing fee. If you cancel within 14 days of the workshop, you will not receive a refund, but the fee can be credited towards a future workshop purchased with Chi Living, Inc. within one year. The Instructor reserves the right to cancel/reschedule the workshop. If the Instructor cancels the workshop, the participant will receive a credit for the full registration fee that can be used for a future workshop. Please note, all refunds made 60 days after the date of purchase will be refunded via check.
